This project was all about tone—capturing something authentic for an audience that's turned off by glossy, fake worlds. It was a real-style film packed with fun, youth, energy, and partying, with Coke Zero as a natural part of that vibe.
What made this project special was the casting. I wanted people with genuine talent—not just modeling or acting skills. Whether it was dancers, skateboarders, or BMX riders, everyone brought something they had worked hard to perfect. There’s an energy and authenticity that comes from people who excel in their craft, and it shines through in the final film.
We kept the approach raw and unpolished, with a rock 'n' roll edge or hype to it. No cheesy effects, no over-the-top visuals, and no crazy camera moves to pull you out of the moment. It was all about grounding the campaign in something real.
The soundtrack, "Set It Off" by Diplo, was written specifically for this campaign and became a defining part of its energy. It worked so well that it was later used in further campaigns for Coke Zero.
The campaign did incredibly well for Coke Zero, with stills from the shoot used globally. I’m proud we captured that spirit—authentic, high-energy, and true to the people who made it special.
